Unable to withstand the pressure of US tariffs! ASRock graphics card and other production lines move out of China

Board manufacturer ASRock has revealed that under pressure from the Trump administration in the United States, they will have to move some of their production capacity out of China.

ASRock said, “Due to the impact of the US government’s 10% tariff, we need to take some time to move the production capacity of some graphics cards and other products originally located in Shenzhen, China to other countries

However, ASRock did not disclose where it will move specifically.

ASRock reluctantly admits that even so, costs will inevitably increase, including relocation expenses, so the final product price will also rise slightly. In the already crowded market, this is not easy.

For example, ASRock’s power supplies produced in China have already been subject to a 25% tariff.

Prior to this, as the world’s second-largest graphics card manufacturer and owner of the Sony/Yingzhong/Wanli brands, Baineng Group also relocated its headquarters from Hong Kong, China to Singapore and some graphics card production lines to Indonesia to avoid being sold only in the United States.

As for other brands such as MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, which also have production lines in China, there has been no action yet, but it would not be surprising if there were any.
